High The Ubuntu archive administration team has always required direct privileged shell access to the ftpmaster system in order to perform many of its routine tasks. This is a security problem, it prevents us from opening some tasks up to those who are not Canonical employees, and it makes it hard for us to improve our own tools. Improve the Launchpad API to handle all our requirements and write suitable API clients. We will know we have succeeded when archive admins no longer require shell access to do their jobs. High Our release notes and technical overview could use a bit of tuning. Part of this is to be clear on the goals they are serving. Session is for discussion of the goals, and ways we can approach better, more automated generation of the content for them. (Leveraging blueprints completion notes, etc.)

High In Precise Beta 2, we were able to use -proposed as a staging archive for the first time. This blue print is to gather examples and use cases, as they occur during the remainder of the cycle, of what worked well, and what caused problems. Thinking is we can then get together at UDS, review the use cases, and figure out some polices to use it effecively going forward.

Medium Some devices that it's interesting to run Ubuntu on cannot do package-by-package updates for various reasons. Discuss what a solution looks like for implementing this with updating by way of swapping full OS images, various pitfalls associated with not running package maintainer scripts on upgrade, etc.

High Right now, Wubi is built locally, then uploaded by Evan to . This has meant that, on occasion, changes to grub that affect Wubi users, as well as milestone CD builds block on Evan. We should fix this bottleneck by making publishing of new Wubi binaries an automated process. This should, if possible, also sign the Wubi binary.
